Obituary for Kathleen Murphy

Kathleen Murphy
Clinton-Kathleen Ann Murphy, 56, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 in Tennessee. She is survived by her daughter, Tatyana Murphy, her mother Kathleen (Downey) Murphy, brother, Timothy Murphy and wife Hong, special cousins Deborah Andries and husband Vincent, Patrick Murphy and wife Stacey, two nephews, Adam Prentiss and Jakob Arsenault, her niece Cara Murphy, several aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Alex Murphy, father, George Murphy, and her sister, Patricia Arsenault.
Kathy was born on June 21, 1961 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. She graduated from Clinton High School, Class of 1980 and studied Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Ashford University. Kathy proudly served our nation in the United States Navy. She was a former owner at M&M Painting & Home Improvements, a Journeyman Roofer for Local 33, and Pro-Desk Manager at The Home Depot. First and foremost, Kathleen was a mother whose children were her life. She enjoyed recreational target shooting, scuba diving, and was a dedicated Patriots fan. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a calling hour prior from 9:30-10:30AM. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tatyana Murphy Education Fund, c/o Santander Bank, 79 High St., Clinton, MA 01510.
