Aldea Siok (Rosa)
Clinton-Aldea T. (Rosa) Siok, 101, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Stanley J. Siok, and their daughter Marcianne Siok. She is survived by her devoted son and caretaker Stanley J. Siok, Jr., with whom she lived, of Clinton; grandson Kevin Siok, of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kelly, Benjamin, and Kolby Siok; granddaughter-in-law Jill Siok of Holden; several nieces, nephews,and dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her grandson David Siok, and siblings, Pauline Gosselin, Herman and Veronica Rosa.
Aldea was born in West Warren to the late Albert & Antonia (Machaj) Rosa. Following high school, she met and married her husband Stanley and the couple built their home and raised their family on Lane Ave. in Clinton. Aldea retired from the Ray-O-Vac Company in Clinton after more than twenty years of employment. She was a devout member of the former Our Lady of Jasna Gora Parish in Clinton where she was active in the Women’s Club. Proud of her Polish heritage, Aldea held membership with the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed traveling to Poland with family and friends. She was a talented knitter and took pleasure in creating a variety of gifts for those she cared most for. Aldea will be missed as the matriarch of her family and remembered lovingly by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a calling hour prior from 9 until 10AM.
