Obituary for Marlene Chase

Marlene Chase
Clinton-Marlene Rose (Willoughby) Chase, 52, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Daniel J. Chase; and their two daughters; Danielle Chase & companion Joseph Palczynski; and Madison Chase; and brother, Scott Willoughby & wife Cindy, all of Clinton. She leaves her step-daughter Gina Anderson & husband Michael of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Marlene was born in Clinton to the late Donald & Carol (Bufton) Willoughby. She attended local schools and graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1982. In addition to raising her family as a full-time homemaker, Marlene worked for many years as a bar manager for the Clinton VFW Post 523. With her outgoing, positive, free spirit, contagious laugh and sense of humor, she was the quintessential life of the party. She possessed a generous heart and had a great love for Elvis Presley, Johnny Depp, classic movies and music. She will be forever remembered and lovingly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 4PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with calling hours prior from 2 until 4PM.
