Obituary for BettyAnn Hart
Leominster-BettyAnn (Burgess) Hart, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Leominster Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 25 years, Roger P. Hart. She is survived by her children & their spouses, Kristine Kromke, with whom she lived; and Lisa Christy & husband Chris, all of Leominster; step-children, Richard J. Hart & wife Ellen, and Lucille Gannon, all of Clinton; Alex, David, and Dennis Di Tinno and families, all of FL. She leaves her siblings, Susan Johannsen, Lorraine Bailey, and Paul Burgess and families, all of CA and brother-in-law Ralph Henderson of Lancaster; her grandchildren: Joshua & Sarrah Kromke, Christopher & Julia Christy; Susan, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Matthew, and Hillary Hart; Patrick & Timothy Gannon; great-grandchildren, Lexi Neuhaus, Ariel Kromke, Jack Hart, Riley, Kayleb, & Jacob Fayard, Cian, Ayah, Nettle, and Rise Hart, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She is pre-deceased by her step-mother Helen Burgess, her sister June Henderson, and step-children; Roger “Skip” and his wife Mary Hart & Margaret “Peggy” Hart.
BettyAnn was born in Stoneham to the late Paul & AnnaMae (Riley) Burgess and attended South Lancaster Academy. She was employed for the Town of Lancaster, from where she ultimately retired after nearly 30 years of service. BettyAnn was the quintessential matriarch of her family who cherished every moment spent in their company. She was a fierce competitor of Yahtzee and enjoyed playing board games with the grandchildren. She was an animal lover and avid gardener, who was happiest in the summer while entertaining at her pool or at Lake Winnipesaukee. BettyAnn will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
